Psychologists (Adult/Older Adult)

Dr. Timothy Legg earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in health sciences research from Touro College, New York, and his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in clinical psychology from California Southern University, Irvine, California. He completed his graduate education as both a gerontological nurse practitioner (GNP-BC) and a family psychiatric health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at the State University of New York, Binghamton, New York. Additionally, he trained in Psychoanalysis at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With over 25 years of experience in providing mental health care to adults/older adults, his experience encompasses acute inpatient psychiatry, geropsychiatric inpatient units, inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, as well as outpatient and community mental health. Dr. Legg provides diagnostic and testing services to adults and older adults with diverse and complex clinical issues. Dr. Legg is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (AAETS), the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), and the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP).
