Our Clinicians

Michelle joined Dr. Berger’s practice in 2015 as a full time physician assistant. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies in 2003 from King’s College. Received her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004 after completing King’s 5 year accelerated program. Michelle provides medication management and specializes in pediatric psychiatric and mental health issues.

Liza joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2025 as a Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies in 2023 from King’s College. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in 2024, after completing the five-year accelerated program.

Tarah joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2020 as a Physician Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Scranton in 2015. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from King’s College in 2018.

Amanda joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2018 as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Wilkes University in 2006. She received her Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing at Walden University and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Amanda specializes in psychiatric and mental health issues primarily for adults.

Marian joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2008 as a certified registered psychiatric nurse practitioner and a certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist (therapist). She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Marian received her PhD in nursing at Adelphi University. She completed a graduate nursing program in psychiatric/mental health nursing at Syracuse University. She completed a post-master’s nurse practitioner program in Adult Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing from Drexel University. She graduated from Misericordia University with an undergraduate and graduate degree in nursing. Marian also completed a post-master’s nurse practitioner program in Health Care of Women at University of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties. Marian specializes in adult psychiatric and mental health issues.

Amanda joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2014 as a Physician Assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Marywood University in 2010. Amanda completed a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in 2011, after completing the five-year accelerated program. She specializes in pediatric psychiatric and mental health issues.

Ashley joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2025 as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Ashley is a graduate of the practical nursing program at Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County. She received her BSN degree with a minor in psychology at Marywood University and received her MSN degree at Western Governors University. She later completed the post-graduate APRN certificate program in psychiatry and mental health at Wilkes University. Ashley provides psychiatric care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.

Ellen Glatz joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2025 as a full-time Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Studies in 2024 from King’s College. She then received her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2025 after completing a five- year accelerated program.

Nathan joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2025 as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He completed his Master’s Degree in Nursing at Wilkes University. He has over 15 years of critical care experience working as a respiratory therapist and a registered nurse. Nathan specializes in psychiatric and mental health issues primarily for adults.

Tracy joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2014 as a Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies in 2012 from King’s College. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in 2013, after completing the five-year accelerated program.

Daryl joined Dr. Berger’s team as a Physician Assistant in 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Montclair State University. She received a a second Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies and master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College.

Mia joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2023 as a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies from King’s College in 2022. She went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies, as well as a Master of Science in Health Care Administration both from King’s College in 2023. Mia specializes in pediatric psychiatric and mental health issues.

Jordyn joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2019 as a NCCPA board certified physician assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies in 2017 and her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018 from King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Julie joined Dr. Berger’s team as a Physician Assistant in 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Asistant Studies at MCP Hahnemann University. Julie provides psychiatric care for primarily adult and geriatric patients in both the in-patient and out-patient settings.

Amber joined DR Berger’s Team in 2022. Amber earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Penn State University in 2012. After completing her nursing degree in 2016, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama and is board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Melanie joined Dr Berger’s practice in in 2001. She graduated from King’s College Physician Assistant Program – Cum Laude. Melanie has worked in the field of psychiatry for 19 years and provides medication management services to adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Melanie also earned a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Marywood University in 1997 and practiced in long term care and inpatient settings in both the Philadelphia, PA and Scranton, PA areas with a special interest in community health, diabetes management and renal disease.

Dayna joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2014 as a Physician Assistant. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2010. She earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Misericordia University in 2014. Dayna specializes in pediatric and adult psychiatric and mental health issues.

Jessica joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2013 as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Scranton. Jessica is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jessica provides psychiatric care for primarily adult and geriatric patients in both the in-patient and out-patient settings.

Abigail joined Dr Berger’s team in 2022 as an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies in 2019 from King’s College. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2020 from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa after completing the five-year accelerated program. She also graduated with a minor in Biology and Neuroscience. She has been active in clinical medicine, including the field of Psychiatry, since 2020.

Alexandra joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2021 as a Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Marywood University in 2014. She earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in 2015, after completing the five-year accelerated program.

Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Certification across the lifespan. She has experience as a registered nurse, with patient-centered care being the core of her nursing career, keeping her care focused on the patient, and expanding her knowledge by utilizing up-to-date practice guidelines and evidence-based information, keeping her information as accurate as possible, ensuring those under her care have the best-informed information. She earned her BSN in nursing from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania and her master’s degree, PMHNP, from Chamberlain University in Illinois. Beth is committed to putting all patents first and to continuing to expand her knowledge base.

Kacey joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2018 as a Physician Assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Studies in 2009. She earned a Masters of Physician Assistant from Marywood University in 2010 after completing the five-year accelerated program. She specializes in psychiatric and mental health issues.

Matthew joined Dr Berger’s team in 2015 as a Physician Assistant. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Misericordia University in 2007. He received a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Misericordia University in 2014. Matthew treats pediatric and adult patients.

Emily joined Dr. Berger’s team in 2024 as a Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies from King’s College in 2023. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in 2024 after completing the five-year accelerated program.
